Covid-19 Update: Navigation courses are due to restart in April with a maximum number of 5 participants. Courses will take place entirely outdoors. Should the course be postponed by Navigation for Women due to Covid-19, you can either choose new dates or receive a full refund. We are continuing to work on ways to improve our courses in relation to the virus and have been awarded the We’re Good To Go certificate in acknowledgement of our efforts in following all current guidelines.
Navigation for Women offers a variety of navigation courses in the beautiful Peak District. We specialise in complete beginners and women who would like to improve their confidence in the outdoors. Our one and two-day courses are limited to 8 participants (5 during Covid-19 restrictions) so you’ll never feel overwhelmed or lost in the crowd. If you prefer learning with a group of friends or colleagues, we can create tailor-made courses for small groups and one to one tuition.
In the age of GPS technology it is easy to lose sight of the need for map and compass skills but they really do remain essential for safety in the hills. A GPS is a welcome addition but should never be seen as a replacement.
The courses are non-residential. Accommodation, travel, food and drink are not included although we send a list of accommodation should you need it which have shops and places to eat nearby.
GIFT VOUCHERS AVAILABLE from £10. Order here.
Contact us if you have any questions or would like to enquire about alternative dates for the courses listed. We are always happy to try to accommodate your requests.
